In March, I went on my very first solo trip to Paris! I started planning a month and a half before I left, and I knew that I wanted to spend a lot of time exploring and eating really good food. Like any foodie, I researched the best restaurants in Paris. I love pasta, bread, and pizza! So, most of my meals consist of those three things!

Here are my favorite restaurants I tried when I was in Paris (in no particular order):

Chez Pippo - I LOVED Chez Pippo! I got the pesto pasta and it was absolutely delicious! The pesto was so tasty and the pasta noodles were made in-house. The bread that is served on the table is made from the same dough as their pizza crust. It's light and airy. I dipped the bread in some of the pesto from my pasta. I won't say how many times I requested more bread (lol)! Also, the manager was so kind! Every time he came to check on me, he addressed me by name. I highly recommend making a reservation. Folks were trying to eat there for lunch while I was there, but were turned away due to availability. It's a small space, but the food is absolutely outstanding! I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Paris.

Comptoir du Marché - This was the first place I ate for dinner on my trip. I had other dinner plans, but it was closer to my hotel. Their menu had pesto pizza, so I knew that was a must try. By now it should be obvious that I love pesto! I kid you not...this was the best pizza I've ever had in my life. The crust was so soft but crispy. The pesto was so flavorful, too. The pizza was huge, so I only ate a few slices and took the rest back to my hotel. I didn't make reservations and was sat immediately. Highly recommend eating here!

HolyBelly - The Google Photos/Reviews did not do this place justice! I'm a breakfast/brunch girl at heart. I love pancakes and bacon, so I knew this had to be one of the places I went for breakfast. HolyBelly was the first place that I ate when I arrived in Paris. The reviews DID NOT LIE! That first bite of pancake had me weak in the knees! The pancakes were hot off the griddle and the bacon was crispy. I debated if I was going to go back the next day. It was just that good. This place is often busy (especially between 10:30am-2pm). I suggest going when they open or soon after so you do not have to wait since they don't take reservations. If you do happen to wait, it is 100% worth the wait!

Immersion - Another brunch place for the win! Immersion Cafe has locations in Republiqué (where I went) and Vendome. Immersion Republiqué is right across the street from HolyBelly and just as good! I got the waffles with fruit and whipped cream. The waffles were so fluffy and hot off the waffle iron. The fruit and whipped cream were so fresh! Immersion also does not take reservations, so I recommend getting there early. Their space is small, but their food packs big flavor!

Le Beef Steakhouse - Okay, so I did have a meal that wasn't pizza or pasta! Le Beef Steakhouse is a steakhouse that serves various kinds of steaks and a few meats. I got the ribeye with mashed potatoes and veggies. It was very good! The steak was cooked to my liking and everything was tasty. I suggest making online reservations ahead of time. If you're tired of the all-carb diet while you're in Paris, I suggest going to Le Beef!

I went to a few other restaurants that were also good, like Ober Mama (part of the Big Mamma Group - Pink Mamma, etc.). I also went to a local diner spot to grab a burger and fries as a late night meal. It was also very tasty! I didn't have one awful meal while I was there.

There are SO many restaurants of various cuisines in Paris, so I definitely suggest doing some research before your trip. If you are headed to Paris soon, I highly suggest that you add the above restaurants to your list of places to eat. You won't be disappointed! If you visit any, let me know about your experience!

Until next time y'all...stay blessed!
